Angus Lawrence took part in the Screentek International North West Youth Tour & Junior Women’s Tour.
This event was held over 3 days from the 27-29 May 2017 at various venues in the North West. The Tour is the third round of the National Youth Circuit Series.
He placed 29th out of 70 riders in the prologue time trial on Morecombe Prom on Day One, 35th on a very hilly closed road course on Stage 2 outside Lancaster. Torrential rain caused a number of crashes in the other ages groups saw the organisers limit day three to one race per age group rather than the planned two races. Angus finished in the leading group for 32nd overall.
