12 members of the club raced at round 3 of the Mud Sweat and Gears Eastern MTB league at the Lee Valley Velopark. The brighter weather also brought with it 4 podium finishes.
Sam Trotter demonstrated his continued strong form by coming 1st in the youth male category by over 2 minutes. Ralf Falkner had another excellent race coming 2nd in the juvenile Male category, Sapphire Curtis came 3rd in the juvenile girls race and Ruby O’Dell came 3rd in the U9 girls race.
Beatrice Pauley came 4th in the juvenile girls race, Dominic Pauley and Sam Smith came 5th and 29th in the U12 boy’s race, Nathan Gibson came 5th in the junior male category, Jack Taylor was 5th in the sport male category, Max Falkner was 13th in the youth male category, Leo Falkner was 15th in the open male category, Nick Smith came 31st in the veteran male category and Mick Curtis was 41st in the grand veteran male category.
